Families endure hardships and layoffs. There are times when parents cannot afford to provide the
most basic necessities for their children. In these situations, parents cannot even provide warmth to their children
through a simple blanket. Others are born into poverty and have never known the benefit of having a blanket for warmth.
Here in the United States, many children and adults have a "favorite" blanket that they cannot sleep without.
Unfortunately, there are many people in this world who do not have the comfort of their own blanket. Blankets do not
need instructions. If you hand a person a blanket, they know that they have received a gift of warmth. The gift
of a blanket also shows someone that you care.
Sometimes we take the simple things in life for granted.
This organization will provide you with the opportunity to reach out to others and provide them with the warmth and comfort
of their very own blanket, something that you probably enjoy every night.
We are distributing blankets to children
and adults in need of this precious gift. With your help, we can make sure that no man, woman or child freezes in the
cold of winter and that all children can have the security that they find in having their own blanket.
